Administrative Assistantship

Students from Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand are eligible for administrative assistantships (20 hr/week workload) with a monthly salary of NTD 5,000.

KMU Scholarship

Scholarship recipients can receive a stipend at least one month after providing the post account to the Office of Global Affairs.

A. Type of scholarships:

  1. Type A, tuition waiver + graduate student housing + stipend.
  2. Type B, tuition waiver + graduate student housing
  3. Type C, tuition waiver + graduate student housing (limited).

B. Eligibility:

  1. Students with any nationality of foreign countries apart from the nationality of the Republic of China, not including overseas Chinese students, Mainland China students, or exchange students.
  2. Applicants for this scholarship shall not receive other scholarships.
  3. Criteria:
  • All credits gained with no F mark from the previous academic year.
  • Grade of conduct shall be above 80.
  • Undergraduate Students must have an average score of 70 or above in the previous academic year. Graduate and Ph.D. Students must have an average score of 80 or above in the previous academic year.

Taiwan Governmental Scholarship

MOE :

Tuition and miscellaneous expenses (i.e., the course-credit fees and miscellaneous basic study-related fees). The MOE will subsidize up to NTD 40,000 each semester for the recipient’s approved tuition and miscellaneous expenses.

  1. Type of scholarship: a monthly stipend of NTD 20,000, up to 4 years.
  2. Eligibility: foreign nationals with a secondary school graduation diploma or a post-secondary degree(s), and an excellent academic record.

Elite- MOE Scholarship for Lecturers from South and Southeast Asia Countries

A. Type of scholarship: a monthly stipend of NTD 25,000, up to 3 years.

B. Eligibility:

  1. Hold the position of lecturer (or assistant professor and professor) at a public or private higher education institution in a country of South or Southeast Asia.
  2. Citizens of the countries of South or Southeast Asian
  3. Position of lecturer (or assistant professor and professor) needs to be on hold because of study till graduation.

MOFA Taiwan Scholarship Program

  1. Type of scholarship: a monthly stipend of NTD 30,000, up to 4 years.
  2. Eligibility: students from countries that have diplomatic relations with Taiwan.
